Empowering the Next Generation of Changemakers
The SDG Innovation for Young Professionals 2026 is a nine-month programme led by Global Compact Network Kenya to help young professionals drive innovation that advances the Sustainable Development Goals within their companies. The 2026 cohort in Kenya is sponsored by I&M Bank.
This programme is designed for high-performing young professionals working in participating companies of the UN Global Compact. It equips participants with practical tools, peer learning opportunities and expert guidance to develop business solutions that respond to real sustainability challenges while creating value for their organisations.
About the programme
The SDG Innovation for Young Professionals is designed to engage emerging business leaders in driving innovation within their organisations. Through a structured learning journey, participants explore new approaches, challenge traditional business models and develop solutions with both business and social value.
Who can apply
- High-performing employees from participating companies of the UN Global Compact
- Participants must be 35 years or younger
- Applicants should have an interest in sustainability, innovation and business transformation
- Participants should be able to dedicate at least four hours per month to the learning plan and attend the core workshops
