About The Event
Global Compact Network Kenya will convene the first peer-learning session of the 2026 Target Gender Equality Accelerator, focused on understanding Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (GEDI) concepts and the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
The session will introduce participants to foundational GEDI concepts, the business case for the Women’s Empowerment Principles and the WEPs-signing process. It will also include an introduction to the United Nations Global Compact Academy, relevant coursework and the company assignment.
The session will be facilitated by Esther Muhia, Target Gender Equality Facilitator, with a technical presentation on the Women’s Empowerment Principles by Esther Yongo, UN Women.
